Mick Ralphs, a talented singer and guitarist, has passed away at the age of 81. He was a founding member of two iconic British rock bands, Bad Company and Mott the Hoople. His death was announced on the band’s website, revealing that he had suffered a stroke after his last performance in 2016 and had been bedridden since.

Ralphs was about to receive a well-deserved honor as a new member of the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame this November with Bad Company. His influence on rock music is undeniable, and fans and fellow musicians are mourning his loss.

Paul Rodgers, the lead singer of Bad Company, expressed his grief in a heartfelt statement. He highlighted Ralphs’ exceptional songwriting skills and his wonderful sense of humor, saying, “Our Mick has passed, my heart just hit the ground.”
