IG Drones Achieves Milestone: India’s First Indigenous Defence Drone Simulator Patent Secured!

In a significant stride toward tech self-reliance, IG Drones has made history by securing India’s first patent for a domestic defence drone simulator. This development aligns perfectly with India’s vision for Aatmanirbhar Bharat (self-reliant India).

Unveiled by Prime Minister Narendra Modi at the Defence Expo 2022, this simulator highlights the country’s growing capabilities in defence technology. Bodhisattwa Sanghapriya, the Founder and CEO of IG Drones, emphasized this achievement, stating, “This patent is a proud assertion of India’s technology resurgence. With Prime Minister Modi’s leadership, we are not merely creating products— we are shaping the future of Bharat’s defence.”

By becoming the first Indian company to obtain intellectual property rights for a drone simulator, IG Drones signifies a shift in defence technology leadership from foreign companies to India. This milestone resonates with the vision of Viksit Bharat 2047, emphasizing India’s capacity to deliver world-class defence technology independently.
