Exciting News: Vande Bharat Train Service Launches From Bengaluru to Ernakulam!

The Indian Railways is set to launch the Vande Bharat Express train connecting KSR Bengaluru to Ernakulam. This train will operate six days a week, excluding Wednesdays, enhancing travel options between these two bustling cities.

The Bengaluru-Ernakulam train will leave KSR Bengaluru at 5:10 am and reach Ernakulam by 1:50 pm. On the return journey, the train will depart from Ernakulam at 2:20 pm and arrive back in Bengaluru by 11:00 pm. This efficient schedule is designed to meet the needs of early birds and late returnees alike.

Notably, the route will have six stops, making it convenient for passengers along the way. Stops include Krishnarajapuram, Salem, Erode, Tiruppur, Coimbatore, Palakkad, and Thrissur.

Railway Minister Ashwini Vaishnaw indicated that the train aims to reduce travel time significantly, which is crucial as travel demands surge in both metropolitan and regional areas. Recent reports highlight that rail travel in India has surged by 20% over the past year as more people seek comfortable and economical travel options.
