Men’s Basketball
Cleveland State is heading to Purdue Fort Wayne for an exciting game on Thursday, January 30. This match will be shown on national TV. The Vikings are riding high after defeating Detroit Mercy and Green Bay, boasting an impressive 10-1 record in Horizon League play. They also hold the second-longest active win streak in Division I, with 12 consecutive victories.

Women’s Basketball
The Vikings are off to Green Bay on Thursday and then to Milwaukee on Saturday, February 1. They recently enhanced their record to 8-2 in the Horizon League with a win over Youngstown State and a non-league victory against Ohio Christian. Cleveland State currently sits third in the league standings, just behind Purdue Fort Wayne and Green Bay.

This week, Cleveland State has a mix of home and away events. They’ll host Northern Illinois on Friday, January 31, before heading to the Edinboro Open on Saturday. After a successful outing where they won against Bloomsburg (40-0) and Clarion (24-10), the Vikings are in great shape. Wrestlers Tate Geiser, JR Reed, Joey Lyons, Daniel Bucknavich, and Reese Stephen each secured two wins in their last matches.
