North Alabama Tennis Team Shines in Conference Opener
The University of North Alabama women’s tennis team kicked off their Atlantic Sun Conference season with an impressive 4-0 victory over Eastern Kentucky University (EKU) on February 27, 2026. This win marked their sixth straight victory, bringing their season record to 7-2.

In singles, Ristola showcased her skills with a flawless 6-0, 6-0 defeat of Ceylin Ipek. Ansorge also excelled, winning her match 6-2, 6-1 against Fedenko. Freshman Sammie Schouten sealed the team victory with a 6-1, 6-1 win over Zhansaya Bakytzhan.
