HUNTINGTON, W.Va. – Marshall Women’s Basketball is back on the court Monday at 6 p.m. They will face UMBC in the second round of the WNIT.
Marshall is one of the teams that advanced automatically, while UMBC secured their spot by beating Ohio in an overtime thriller. The full tournament bracket can be viewed here.

Meet Coach Juli Fulks
- Juli Fulks is in her second season leading the Lady Herd. Before Marshall, she won 400 games and led Transylvania to the DIII National Championship.
- In her second year, she has already seen a big improvement, adding eight wins compared to her first season.
What to Expect
- This game marks Marshall’s first outing in 17 days after their loss in the SBC quarterfinals. Senior Timaya Lewis-Eutsey led the team in scoring this season and was recognized as SBC First Team All-Conference, SBC Newcomer of the Year, and on the SBC All-Defensive Team.

- Another senior, Meredith Maier, has made 79 three-pointers this season, ranking third in program history. Peyton Ilderton follows closely with 74, while Shayna Gore holds the top two records with 96 and 86.
- The winner of this game will face the victor of the Youngstown State vs. Maryland Eastern Shore match in the next round.
