Don’t forget! The Burien Community Center is hosting the Empty Bowls fundraiser this Friday, January 31, 2025. Join us for art, food, and community spirit to support the Highline and White Center Food Banks.
There are two options to enjoy this event:
- Lunch: 11 a.m. to 2 p.m.
- Dinner: 4 p.m. to 8 p.m.
With a donation of $20 for adults and $10 for children, you can select a unique bowl crafted by talented local artists from the Moshier Art Center. Your donation also includes a hearty meal of soup, bread, dessert, and a drink, all generously provided by local businesses.
The Empty Bowls project is part of a larger effort across the country to fight hunger through community involvement. This event not only fills stomachs but also encourages everyone to think about food insecurity and its impact.
No need to RSVP! Everyone is welcome to join in.
