When you send a message on WhatsApp, it’s always secured end-to-end. This means your message is encrypted from the time you send it until the recipient reads it. The same goes for iMessages sent between Apple users. If you’re texting an Android user, that message switches from a blue to a green bubble, indicating it’s no longer encrypted.
On the other hand, Google Messages has a somewhat tricky system. For your messages to be encrypted, everyone in the chat must use the updated app. Users often need to check their settings to ensure they’re secure, especially after the new update.
