Ranked 143rd in driving accuracy among 156 players, he still found a way to compete. “This course allows me to do well even when I miss fairways,” he said. McNealy praised the course for being more forgiving compared to others, where missing fairways can lead to severe penalties.
Interestingly, a survey from the PGA indicated that players often prefer courses that allow for a mix of strategy and skill. This flexibility might explain why McNealy thrives on courses like Aronimink.
