Logano recalled that neither of them were very good at basketball. “I’m glad no cameras saw it; it would have been embarrassing,” he said.
Their rivalry may have simmered down, but many drivers agree there were two sides to Busch. Chase Briscoe pointed out that Busch knew how to turn his competitive edge on and off. “When you’re backstage, he’s just Kyle, joking around. But once on stage, he switches to Rowdy,” Briscoe said.
