Love Island launched its eighth season by referencing celebrity couple Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce. Narrator Iain Stirling mentioned both Swift and Kelce, as well as Meghan Markle and Prince Harry, shortly after the season began.
This season of Love Island features a new cast of singles and is hosted by Ariana Madix. The opening minutes included a musical segment where islanders performed to “Say You Do” by Sigala, Imani Williams, and DJ Fresh.

Prince Harry and Meghan Markle have also remained a notable couple in the media.
