Playing at home in the Galen Center, the Trojans came out strong. They shot an impressive 75% from three-point range, scoring a total of 92 points in a commanding 25-point victory.
Chibuzo Agbo, a senior guard, led the charge. He scored 21 points entirely from beyond the arc, making seven out of nine three-pointers. This marked his best performance in Big Ten play this season.
This win was crucial for USC after a disappointing loss to No. 7 Purdue just days earlier. The Trojans have another chance to build momentum on Saturday against Minnesota, a game that looks promising for them.
With just four weeks left in the regular season, USC is currently tied for eighth place in the Big Ten. Finishing in the top nine is important as it would secure them a bye in the first round of the Big Ten Tournament.
