Delray Man Takes on 100-Mile Challenge in 24 Hours to Raise Mental Health Awareness

On Friday night, 29-year-old Caulen Coe embarked on a meaningful mission. He ran through downtown Delray Beach, striving to raise awareness and funds for mental health.

Coe ran a 2.2-mile loop, using the nearby Slash Fitness gym as his rest stop. He planned to keep going until midnight, sharing every mile with friends and fellow gym members.

“I want people to know that there is always hope, even during tough times,” Coe said. He has been training for this challenge since the fall and aims to inspire others through his story.

By noon, he had already covered over 50 miles, reaching the halfway mark with determination. His efforts support MOVEMBER, a nonprofit focused on men’s health. They provide funding for research and work to improve health services for men.

Coe’s own battles with mental health fuel his desire to make a difference. He believes in the power of community support and hopes to encourage others facing similar struggles.

As of now, he has raised over $4,000 towards his goal. With each mile he runs, he comes closer to making a real impact on the lives of those in need.
