Southern Connecticut’s baseball team recently took down New Haven with a score of 14-7, marking an important win in the Northeast-10 Conference. This victory improved Southern’s record to 15-9, while New Haven slipped to 15-8 overall.

Brennan Staubley shined in the game, achieving his third consecutive game with multiple hits. He went 2-for-5, including a significant RBI double and two runs scored. Spencer Chard also had a standout performance, scoring four runs and stealing two bases. Other notable players included Jake Gruttadauria, who also went 2-for-5, and Patrick Dillon, who batted 3-for-5, contributing three runs and an RBI. Zak Droukas drove in three runs, showcasing an outstanding offensive effort from the Owls.

On the pitching side, Spencer Fox earned the win after relieving. He kept New Haven at bay, allowing just one run on seven hits and striking out seven batters in six innings.
