Adam Levine is back on The Voice after leaving in 2019. As the show gears up for its 27th season, he shared his thoughts with fellow judges John Legend, Michael Bublé, and Kelsea Ballerini.
Levine joked about the show’s past chaos, saying, “It used to get so ugly. We would scream over each other.” He recalled the intense moments with Blake Shelton, noting how different things are now. “It was so chaotic. I wouldn’t be able to handle that now. This feels like a safe space,” he added.
Ballerini playfully chimed in, teasing Levine about how often he mentions Shelton. Their friendship has been a highlight since the show started in 2011. Shelton left The Voice last year, just missing the chance to reunite with Levine.
The coaches also welcomed Ballerini. Although this is her first season as a main coach, she has previous experience as an advisor in season 16 and as a substitute in season 20 for Team Kelly Clarkson.
The new season kicks off on Monday, February 3, on NBC. It promises to bring fresh talent and exciting performances. Stay tuned!
