HOWARD COUNTY, Md. (7News) — Howard County police have arrested an 18-year-old man from Columbia, named Emmetson Zeah, in connection with a double shooting from February 22. He is charged with first-degree murder and attempted murder, among other offenses. Zeah is currently held without bail at the Howard County Detention Center.

On the evening of the incident, officers responded to reports of gunfire around 5:52 p.m. at the parking lot of Lidl, located on Little Patuxent Parkway. When they arrived, they found two teenage victims.
Sadly, Michael Robertson, a 16-year-old from Columbia, was pronounced dead at the scene. His friend, Blake McCray, 15, was rushed to the University of Maryland Shock Trauma Center, where he is in critical condition.
Investigators believe that Zeah specifically targeted these two boys, but the reason behind the shooting remains unclear. Police recovered a weapon and clothing linked to Zeah at his home, providing crucial evidence for the ongoing investigation.
