His comments came right after Wizards of the Coast showcased the collaboration at PAX East on May 10. Nomura also hinted at a significant change in the design of Safer Sephiroth, without revealing too much. Fans are eager to see how his artistic vision unfolds in the final product.

Many speculate that the artwork represents Sephiroth’s growth throughout the game, although the changes to Safer Sephiroth remain a mystery.
