Pune: The 41st PSPB Inter-Unit Hockey Tournament is heating up at the Major Dhyan Chand Hockey Stadium. Defending champions Bharat Petroleum Corporation Limited (BPCL) and runner-up Indian Oil Corporation Limited (IOCL) each secured crucial wins on Friday.
BPCL now leads the standings with six points after two victories. IOCL sits in second place, along with Oil and Natural Gas Corporation (ONGC), both having three points from one win each. Engineers India Limited (EIL) has yet to score, losing both of their matches so far.
In an intense clash, BPCL staged a thrilling comeback against ONGC, finishing 4-3. ONGC took an early lead with a goal from Gurjot Singh in the 17th minute.
