Recently, at least 31 Palestinians lost their lives due to Israeli airstrikes in Gaza. This tragic event took place overnight from Monday into Tuesday, according to local authorities.
In the southern city of Khan Younis, an airstrike hit a residential building in the Al-Manara neighborhood. This attack resulted in the deaths of 12 people, including women and children, and left many others injured.
In central Gaza, airstrikes from Israeli helicopters claimed the lives of eight individuals, including four kids. Many others suffered severe burns from the assaults in the Deir Al-Balah region.
Gaza City also faced violence, where two separate attacks killed five people and injured at least five more, as reported by local civil defense.
One specific attack targeted a building linked to the Skeik family on Al-Wehda Street, taking one woman’s life and injuring several others.
On Tuesday morning, another airstrike resulted in the deaths of four children in the eastern part of Gaza City, specifically at a house belonging to the Abu Al-Sha’ar family.
Tragically, Mohammad Bashir Al-Tolmes, a journalist for the Palestinian Press Agency, died from severe injuries sustained during an airstrike in the Sheikh Radwan neighborhood of Gaza City.
These recent killings follow numerous weeks of intense and punitive Israeli airstrikes in the region. On Monday alone, at least 45 individuals were reported dead, according to a local hospital director.
Among the deceased were women and children. Many others were left with serious injuries, as detailed by Dr. Fadel Naim from Al-Ahli Baptist Hospital. He shared that the hospital was overwhelmed and lacked essential supplies to treat the wounded adequately.
