Celebrate International Day of Women and Girls in Science Tomorrow: Empowering Future Innovators!

February 11 is a special day; it’s the International Day of Women and Girls in Science. This year, we celebrate its 10th anniversary! Gender equality in science is essential for a brighter future, but women and girls still face many barriers in this field.

To close the gender gap in science, we need to challenge stereotypes and promote inspiring role models. It’s important to have programs that support women’s careers and create inclusive workplaces through policies that encourage diversity and equity.

We at Those Nerdy Girls want to recognize and celebrate all the women and girls making strides in science, not just today but every day!

Our team includes experts from various scientific backgrounds. We have epidemiologists, biologists, geneticists, and experienced healthcare professionals like nurses and physicians. We even have aspiring scientists, including one still in high school!
