ASTANA – Yesil Technology Company from China is set to start making drones in Kazakhstan. This exciting new venture is in partnership with the Kazakh Invest national company.

On January 15, Kazakh Invest shared plans for a 50,000-square-meter facility in the Almaty Region. This site will include a battery manufacturing area, a research center for new technologies, storage for machinery, and a testing station for aviation.
The project is expected to create around 500 jobs. The goal is to enhance Kazakhstan’s industry and innovation and to diversify its economy. The drones made here will be sold within the country and across Central Asia.
According to Yongning Hui, the head of Yesil Technology, the company is committed to attracting top scientists from around the world. They aim to overcome challenges in drone technology, like flight range and navigation accuracy, ensuring reliable performance even in tough conditions.
Yesil Technology is a branch of Shaanxi Kaizhuo Electronic Technology Co., Ltd., established in March 2024. The company specializes in smart drone solutions, focusing on communication technology and practical applications in agriculture, environmental monitoring, and emergency services.
