Sony is offering compensation to PS Plus users after a major PSN outage that lasted nearly 24 hours.

To make up for this downtime, all paying PS Plus members will receive an extra five days of service at no cost. This extension will appear automatically in their accounts.

Reports confirm that these extra days are being added now. When we checked our PS Plus Premium account, we found five extra days have been added to our subscription.

If you want to verify your account status, you can do so by looking at your email receipt. Compare the expiry date on your receipt with your current subscription details. Log in to the PS Store, click on your avatar, select ‘Subscriptions Management,’ and find your next payment date. If it’s five days later than the last receipt, your extension is confirmed.
