U.S. Coast Guard divers have arrived in the Bahamas to search for Lynette Hooker, who vanished in April. Her husband, Brian Hooker, claims she fell from their boat while they were near Elbow Cay.
Lynette, 55, disappeared on April 4. Brian was arrested shortly after on April 8 but was released five days later without charges. He maintains he did not harm her and wants to find her. In an interview, he stated, “I’ve never harmed Lynette, and I would never harm Lynette, and I want to find Lynette.”
Brian reported that during a dinghy ride, Lynette fell overboard with the engine keys in her possession. He paddled back to shore, informed someone of the incident, and that person called the police.
The Coast Guard’s search operation is now underway in Hopetown, focusing on the waters where Lynette was last seen. This search is critical, not only for uncovering more about her disappearance but also for offering closure to her family.
