A popular social media star recently shared his love for the food at a coastal gem called Say Cheese in Felixstowe. Sarah Hoirns opened this spot at the start of last year. It’s known for its tasty macaroni cheese, which comes with an impressive selection of toppings.
At Say Cheese, diners can customize their orders. Options include the “Mac Attack,” featuring crispy potatoes over mac and cheese, or the “D Oh Double G,” a hearty version topped with hotdogs and crispy onions, drizzled with mustard and ketchup.
During a recent visit, TikTok star Food Review Club sampled a £15 mac and cheese dish loaded with crispy onions and bacon bits. In a video that’s quickly gathered nearly 100,000 views, he praised the cheesy goodness. “It’s delicious. The mac is lovely, the onions add great crunch, and the bacon bits are like tiny pieces of gammon,” he remarked. He found the meal indulgent and quite filling.
He rated Say Cheese a solid 7.9 out of 10, suggesting that a sharper cheddar would enhance the flavor even more. This isn’t the first time Food Review Club has reviewed local spots; he previously enjoyed meals at other Suffolk establishments like Jus Winging It and Big Bro Bao.
Interestingly, social media reviews like this one are increasingly influencing dining choices. A recent survey found that 74% of consumers look at online reviews before trying a new restaurant.
