Kenny Chesney is about to make waves in the music world by becoming the first country artist to perform at the Las Vegas Sphere. Just last week, he shared exciting news about a planned 12-show residency at this cutting-edge venue. The response was fantastic, leading him to add three more dates: June 18, June 20, and June 21.

Chesney expressed his desire to enhance the experience for his fans, known as No Shoes Nation. He’s passionate about how his songs connect with them and wants to give back even more. “When people give you that much heart, I want to give them even more,” he said.
He became all-in when learning about the Sphere’s unique features, including 4D technology and top-notch sound. “This is going to immerse the fans in music, visuals, and sound,” he said. “I can’t wait to rock with them in a whole new way.”
Chesney has already seen shows at the Sphere, including those by U2. He noted how the experience wraps around you and said, “Once you see how the show wraps all the way around you, the dreaming begins.” That’s what makes this venue so special.
The Sphere can hold up to 17,600 people, setting the stage for an incredible atmosphere. His residency will kick off on May 22 and conclude on June 14.
Earlier this year, he wrapped up his Sun Goes Down Tour with a bang, playing three sold-out nights at Gillette Stadium before an astonishing 180,000 fans. It’s clear that Chesney knows how to put on a show and keep his audience coming back for more.
