Capcom is looking into a problem some players are facing in Monster Hunter Wilds.

Players have reported that during Main Mission: Chapter 5-2, titled “A World Turned Upside Down,” an important NPC isn’t showing up. This issue is preventing them from moving forward in the game.

On social media, Capcom acknowledged the issue: “Hunters, we are currently investigating this problem. Some NPCs may not appear, blocking progress in Main Mission: Chapter 5-2.” They assured players that they’re working on a fix and will update everyone soon.

There’s no timeline yet for when this will be fixed. However, Capcom has been quick to resolve other issues recently. For example, they released a hotfix for problems with the Smithy and “Grill a Meal.” Be sure to install any updates before jumping back into the game.

Monster Hunter Wilds has already surpassed 1 million concurrent players on Steam. If you enjoy customizing your character, you can change your hunter’s appearance once for free. After that, any major changes to gender or body shape will come with a cost.
