DeAPlaneta Entertainment, a company based in Barcelona, has taken full ownership of the animated children’s show, Milo.
Milo started on Channel 5’s Milkshake! block in the UK, thanks to a collaboration between British studio Fourth Wall and DeAPlaneta. The show centers around a curious little cat and his buddies as they discover various jobs and professions.
This new arrangement means DeAPlaneta will manage Milo’s development, expand licensing, and build broadcast partnerships globally.
Since its debut in 2021, Milo has been a hit, airing in over 170 countries across four continents. It also reached audiences in the US on PBS Kids last year. The series is gearing up for its third season, which is set to start development soon.
Joe Moroney, CEO of Fourth Wall, expressed pride in the show’s journey. He emphasized their excitement for DeAPlaneta as they take Milo into the next phase. Fourth Wall aims to create more captivating global brands and stories for everyone.
Diego Ibáñez Belaustegui, chief brand officer at DeAPlaneta, shared that this agreement will boost their efforts in digital interaction and open doors for new international collaborations. He highlighted the importance of Fourth Wall as a creative partner in bringing Milo to life and looks forward to enhancing the brand’s future.
