FRESNO, Calif. – Fury Hot Chicken has begun the new year on a high note with the launch of a refreshing new drink: Hands Lemonade.

According to Chief Sales Officer Dee McAlister, the idea for Hands Lemonade stemmed from their commitment to handcrafting everything. The lemonade features their own original recipe.

Now, customers can enjoy the clean and crisp flavor of “Strangled Berry” Lemonade, which is making its debut on store shelves. The first place to sample it was Food 4 Less in Madera.

It took nearly three years to perfect the recipe. McAlister mentioned that two more exciting flavors will be added this spring, expanding the lemonade offerings further.

Fury Hot Chicken also plans to open a new location in Los Banos this spring, with a future site in Fresno’s River Park by Summer 2025. McAlister shared, “We have the keys and everything — we’re already starting with the contractors.”

Dee McAlister has worn many hats within the Fury company, but her proudest title is “Mama.” She wholeheartedly supports her son Marcel’s dream, which has gained tremendous backing from the local community.

This journey began with Fury Labs, a sister company that promotes their restaurants and sells signature items like Honey-B sauce, honey smoke dry rub, and the new lemonade.

Reflecting on their journey, McAlister expressed her gratitude, saying, “Looking at all of the hurdles and everything that brought us to this point, it’s just been amazing.”
