Meghan Markle is back in the spotlight with her new Netflix show, With Love, Meghan, launching this month. Along with the show, she will introduce her lifestyle brand, As Ever.

Meghan first shared the brand’s plans on Instagram in February. Since then, she’s faced some bumps in the road. These include legal issues and name changes. Initially called American Riviera Orchard, the name changed to As Ever due to trademark conflicts with the Santa Barbara region.

In her announcement, Meghan explained, “I thought ‘American Riviera’ sounded great since it represents my neighborhood. But it limited me to just local goods.” She had a name in mind since 2022, which is now As Ever. She said it means “as it’s always been,” relating to her earlier lifestyle blog, The Tig. The brand will focus on her passions like cooking, crafting, and gardening.

Meghan also hit a snag with As Ever’s logo, which features a palm tree and hummingbirds. The design looks similar to Porreres, a village in Mallorca, which has used a similar emblem since the 14th century. The local mayor expressed concerns but mentioned that taking legal action is costly for a small town.

On the Netflix front, while it’s not certain if As Ever products will feature in her show, Netflix is a partner in her new venture. They have not disclosed if they have a financial stake in the brand. However, As Ever items may be sold at Netflix’s pop-up locations in Texas and Pennsylvania.

As for the products, they are set to launch in Spring 2025. So far, items like raspberry spread, honey, herbal teas, and shortbread cookies are featured on the As Ever website. Plans for the brand include a variety of other goods, such as cooking tools, jams, and baked goods, offering fans a taste of Meghan’s lifestyle. However, she won’t be selling clothing due to trademark issues with a Chinese brand.

While there’s no fixed launch date yet, the Instagram account for As Ever hinted at a Spring 2025 release. The brand’s website went live in late February, with more products announced around the same time as the show.
