Valley Ranch is on the brink of a big expansion, reinforcing its reputation as a vibrant community in the Greater Houston area. This growth will not just enhance the existing Valley Ranch Town Center, which is already the most popular open-air shopping spot in Houston, but will also introduce new features designed to transform the area.
What’s being added? A 210,000-square-foot convention center, a bigger entertainment district, and a new retail area—these additions will enrich the experiences for everyone who visits.
Leading this development is The Signorelli Company. The CEO, Danny Signorelli, describes Valley Ranch as evolving into a world-class destination that seamlessly blends shopping, dining, and entertainment. The existing 138-acre Entertainment District is already a draw, featuring attractions like The Hill at Valley Ranch, a multi-purpose outdoor venue, a Cinemark theater, and the modern Randall Reed Stadium. With the addition of the new convention center, which will be Texas’s seventh largest, Valley Ranch is set to host significant corporate events, trade shows, and community gatherings.
Additionally, the area will welcome the Hope Media Group‘s upcoming Ministry & Media Center. This facility will feature several Christian radio stations, enhancing the cultural landscape of Valley Ranch when it opens in 2025.
The amphitheater at Valley Ranch, which attracted around 18,000 attendees last Fourth of July, is also getting an upgrade, promising to become one of the largest outdoor entertainment venues in Texas. Adding to the entertainment options, a new center called Lumos is under construction. This 45,000-square-foot space will include bowling, arcade games, and other attractions, making it a perfect family spot.
On top of entertainment, Valley Ranch is expanding its retail offerings with the new Valley Ranch Marketplace. Spanning 188 acres, it will introduce 850,000 square feet of retail space featuring a variety of shops, fitness centers, and dining options. This Marketplace is designed to be pedestrian-friendly, encouraging a lively, walkable environment.
This long-term vision for Valley Ranch reflects a commitment to community. Investments in local infrastructure, including new sports facilities in partnership with the New Caney School District, emphasize a commitment to fostering a thriving community identity.
