Hannah Parcells is excited to take on the role of content managing editor at The Collegian for the 2024-25 school year. She is pursuing two degrees: a Bachelor of Science in psychology and a Bachelor of Arts in political science, focusing on global politics. With a curious mind and strong opinions, Hannah is passionate about understanding and helping people. She aims to use her education to make a positive impact in the world.
Growing up in an Air Force family, Hannah traveled across the Great Plains, developing a love for nature. When she wasn’t outdoors, she often lost herself in books, nurturing her interests in science, history, and compelling stories.
In fall 2023, Hannah joined The Collegian as a reporter after transferring to Colorado State University. A friend’s suggestion led her to the publication, where she discovered her passion for storytelling. By the end of her first semester, she had become the news editor.
Hannah believes in the power of information. She is dedicated to maintaining The Collegian’s tradition of honest reporting. She encourages readers to explore their world and stay informed.
When she’s not busy with her studies or writing, you can find Hannah hiking, listening to music, or browsing a local bookstore or coffee shop, where she enjoys her love for caffeine and good books.
