Discover the Sleek New Oura Ring 5: Now with Enhanced Blood Pressure Tracking!

Oura has just launched the Oura Ring 5, and it’s a game changer. This new smart ring is 40% smaller than the previous model, making it more comfortable and discreet. It measures just 6.09mm wide and 2.29mm thick. Oura designed it to look and feel like a traditional wedding band.

Despite its smaller size, the ring still holds a battery life of about a week per charge. This is thanks to improvements in its design, from mechanical to sensing technologies. The sensors are now more precise, using advanced materials to ensure they work effectively across different skin tones.

One exciting feature is the new Health Radar. This tool builds on Oura’s earlier Symptom Radar, which was released in 2024. The Health Radar has two main functions right now: Blood Pressure Signals and Nighttime Breathing. The blood pressure feature keeps track of patterns that could suggest cardiovascular issues, while nighttime breathing monitors sleep-related breathing problems over a 30-day span.

Another added bonus is the Health Records feature for U.S. users. You can now import your medical details directly into the app. Oura has teamed up with Counsel Health, an AI-powered service, allowing users in 43 U.S. states to ask health questions and consult with licensed doctors.

The Oura Ring 5 also introduces GLP-1 Insights. This helps users keep track of medication dosages and any side effects. There is even a Lab Uploads feature for entering your blood biomarker results alongside the data from the ring.

For those into fitness, the ring now has live workout tracking, showing real-time metrics like pace and heart rate. A project called the Brain Health Study is also underway, linking cognitive assessments with biometric data.

The Oura Ring 5 comes with a new optional Charging Case that provides up to a month of battery life and supports wireless charging for $99. You can track lost rings and cases, which is a handy feature.

Pricing starts at $399 for the Silver and Black models, while other color finishes like Gold and Deep Rose run for $499. If you’re interested, pre-orders are open, and shipping starts on June 4.

In a world where health technology is becoming more personal and accessible, the Oura Ring 5 is a leap forward. It brings advanced health tracking into a sleek form factor, making it easier for people to stay informed about their health. For more details, visit Oura.
