More leaks about the Pixel 9a are popping up just before its launch, and they reveal a lovely new shade of purple.
Shared by Evan Blass on a private Twitter account, these leaks feature what looks like marketing materials for the Pixel 9a. Much of what we see isn’t groundbreaking, with familiar themes like the Gemini platform and various Google features highlighted. There’s even a nod to a Theft Detection feature.
The star of the show is the Pixel 9a in a fresh purple color, likely named “Iris.” Images show it alongside the other colors in the lineup, showcasing how it looks in different settings.
We also got a detailed look at the camera bump on the Pixel 9a. It barely protrudes from the back of the phone, resembling the designs from a few years back, rather than the bulkier options on today’s smartphones. This design might be due to the phone’s thicker profile, which could also mean a larger battery inside.
Google is expected to unveil the Pixel 9a very soon, possibly on March 26. Are you a fan of the new purple look?
