Amazon’s Prime Video is set to launch a German version of the sailing adventure show, Mission Unknown: Atlantic, produced by Banijay Entertainment. This exciting new format will feature social media personality Jens ‘Knossi’ Knossall, who will embark on a thrilling journey across the Atlantic with popular friends.
The first two episodes will debut on Prime Video Germany on February 28. Shortly after, they’ll also be available on Knossi’s YouTube channel. Major brands like Samsung, HOLY, and yfood are joining as partners in this adventure.
Participants in the show include well-known German influencers such as Joey Kelly, Sophia Thiel, Marc Eggers, and Jodie Calussi. They’ll form teams as they navigate the challenges of sailing across the ocean, competing against each other along the way.
Arno Schneppenheim, the Managing Director of Banijay Productions Germany, expressed enthusiasm for the project. He mentioned that Mission Unknown: Atlantic blends the talents of creators with traditional entertainment, capturing the excitement and engagement of audiences.
This isn’t Knossi’s first collaboration with Banijay. He has previously worked on the popular Big Brother – Knossi Edition and co-hosted Three Are the Champions. Both shows were produced by Endemol Shine Germany, highlighting Knossi’s strong connection to the entertainment world.
Mission Unknown: Atlantic is produced by Banijay Productions Germany with support from DLS Consulting. The marketing for this innovative entertainment format will also be handled by Banijay Media Germany in partnership with DLS.
