New details about Eclipse Glow Games’ action title, Tides of Annihilation, emerged in an interview with Wccftech.

The developers shared that the combat style is more like Devil May Cry than Souls-like games, with options for difficulty levels. While there are levels and skill trees, the gameplay focuses more on action.

Players can choose from four weapons, including fists, swords, and bows, allowing for diverse playstyles.

The game moved into beta testing at the end of 2024, with a launch expected in 2026. This timeline might change as development progresses.

In total, players can anticipate over 30 hours of gameplay, battling through more than 30 unique bosses, each with special abilities.

The outfits in the game are purely for looks, with no actual impact on gameplay, though players can collect various armors.

Players will take on the role of Gwendolyn, the last hope for humanity, as she navigates the ruined streets of London to solve a mystery that could change everything. She’ll face off against supernatural foes and conquer vast vertical landscapes. The game features two unique versions of the city:

• Modern London – A damaged version of our world, with familiar landmarks altered by a supernatural invasion.
• Medieval Fantasy Realm – A realm inspired by Arthurian legends, filled with ancient magic, mythical creatures, and mighty knights.
