Update, March 3rd: The Google Pixel 7 Pro has sold out at Best Buy.
Although it’s a few years old, the Google Pixel 7 Pro is still a smart choice. It’s currently priced lower than many budget phones. At Best Buy, you can find the unlocked version for just $199.99. This model comes with 12GB of RAM and 256GB of storage. That’s quite a drop from its original price of $999.
While the newer Pixel 9 Pro is a step up, Best Buy’s deal on the 7 Pro is still a steal. For $200, you get a big 6.7-inch screen with a smooth 120Hz refresh rate. Plus, its triple camera setup includes a 48-megapixel telephoto lens. This phone also boasts all-day battery life and has an IP68 rating, making it resistant to water and dust. It comes with Google-exclusive features like spam call blocking and a handy transcribing Recorder app.
However, keep a few things in mind. The Pixel 7 Pro lacks some of the advanced AI camera features found on newer models. It’s powered by Google’s Tensor G2 chipset, which is slower than what you’ll find in the latest devices. Additionally, its update support ends in October 2027, while newer phones will receive updates for longer. If you’re okay with that, the Pixel 7 Pro at this price is a great option.
