ELON, N.C. – The Elon University women’s tennis team has welcomed Allie Gretkowski as their new assistant coach.

Gretkowski brings impressive credentials to Elon. She played at South Carolina and Louisville, competing at the Division I level. At South Carolina, she shone both in singles and doubles. She reached as high as the No. 3 singles spot and achieved a notable No. 37 ranking in doubles. Notably, she went undefeated with a 12-0 record in her No. 3 doubles position.

At Louisville, she finished her redshirt senior season with a solid 13-5 singles record, gathering key wins against ACC teams like Florida State and Clemson. She wrapped up her time at Louisville on a strong note, ending the season with four wins in a row. In doubles, she held an 11-9 record, with a notable partnership that secured wins against Virginia Tech and Florida State.

Gretkowski’s remarkable junior career includes being the No. 1 recruit in South Carolina by TennisRecruiting.net. She earned the title of South Carolina USTA Player of the Year in 2017. Additionally, she won the doubles championship at the Eddie Herr ITF Championships in 2018 and secured back-to-back ITF doubles titles in Atlanta in 2018 and 2019.

Beyond accolades, Gretkowski graduated from Louisville with a bachelor’s degree in Sport Administration. With her experience and achievements, she is set to make a significant impact on the Elon women’s tennis program.
