Additionally, he mentioned that this year marks a significant milestone for the RSS as it celebrates its centenary. The organization has been expanding, with nearly 89,000 branches across over 55,000 locations in India. Hosabale noted that having more than 50 branches in a region is considered a hallmark of a major city within the RSS framework. This growth extends even into tribal areas, where the presence of a single branch signifies building a community focused on unity.
Recent trends show a growing interest in discussions about identity and nationalism in India. A survey conducted in 2023 indicated that nearly 70% of respondents feel a strong sense of national pride.
