Exciting Cast Announcements for Season 2 of ‘Nobody Wants This’: Leighton Meester and Miles Fowler Join the Show!

Season 2 of “Nobody Wants This” is bringing some exciting new faces. Leighton Meester and Miles Fowler are joining the cast in guest roles. Fans of Meester will be especially thrilled, as she will be appearing alongside her husband, Adam Brody, who plays Noah in the series.

The show also features a talented ensemble that includes Kristen Bell, Stephanie Faracy, Michael Hitchcock, Tovah Feldshuh, Paul Ben-Victor, Emily Arlook, Jackie Tohn, Sherry Cola, and Shiloh Berman.

Meester will take on the role of Abby, Joanne’s (Bell) middle school rival who has transformed into an Instagram mommy influencer. Fowler will portray Lenny, Noah’s teammate in the Matzah Ballers, who gets set up with Morgan (Justine Lupe).

The series follows Joanne, a skeptical podcast host, and Noah, an unconventional rabbi. Their chance meeting at a party leads to a connection, but their differing views on life, love, and family will present challenges. Joanne’s sister, Morgan, and Noah’s brother, Sasha, also complicate matters.

Leighton Meester is well-known for her role as Blair Waldorf in “Gossip Girl.” She appeared in all six seasons of the series and had guest spots in “Veronica Mars,” alongside Bell. She’s also been in shows like “24” and “Single Parents.” Fans can look forward to seeing her in Rachel Sennott’s upcoming HBO comedy.

Miles Fowler recently starred in the Netflix series “A Man on the Inside” and is recognized for his part in the film “Bottoms.” He has also appeared in shows like “The Resident” and “Winning Time: The Rise of the Lakers Dynasty.”

Since its release, “Nobody Wants This” has quickly gained popularity, reaching the top of Netflix’s charts after its premiere last September. The series was renewed for a second season shortly after.

Erin Foster, the creator of the show, returns as an executive producer. Season 2 will also see Jenni Konner and Bruce Eric Kaplan stepping in as showrunners. Kristen Bell is not only starring but also executive producing alongside several others in the team. The series is produced by 20th Television and Steven Levitan Productions.
