Exciting Fall 2025 Updates for Halo Infinite: What’s New and What to Expect!

Time flies! Just a short while ago, the Halo Infinite Summer Update brought exciting new features like the Spartan Academy and thrilling game modes. Now, we’re gearing up for another big event.

Mark your calendars for August 5, when the Fall Update kicks off with Operation: Shadows. This is more than just a regular update; it’s packed with fresh content, including a new vehicle, weapon, special playlists, and some enticing customization options.

For veterans of the game, this update will feel familiar. Between now and November, you can expect three new Operations, each offering new armor sets and gameplay modes. Here’s what to look for:

  • Operation: Shadows (August 5)
  • Operation: Warpath (September 9)
  • Operation: Haloween II (October 7)

The first Operation will introduce the Falcon vehicle and the Vestige Carbine weapon. Let’s dive deeper into what these features entail.

New Vehicle: Falcon

The Falcon returns! This versatile aircraft is not just for show; it comes equipped with a grenade launcher and a heavy machine gun, making it ideal for various combat situations. It can carry up to five Spartans, perfect for those co-op sky missions. Watch out for it in the new “Famished Famished Falcons” mode, where teamwork is key to securing the flag while dodging enemy fire.

New Weapon: Vestige Carbine

Next up is the Vestige Carbine, a semi-automatic rifle that fires radioactive projectiles with precision. Inspired by a historical era from the Covenant, this weapon will be featured in a new game mode called Banished Slayer, where players choose between UNSC and Banished arsenals. This adds an extra layer of strategy to the combat.

Operation Pass Overview

Operation: Shadows offers both a free and a Premium Operation Pass. The free pass will be available for a limited time and lets players earn unique armor sets, including the new Whisper armor, while the Premium pass provides additional challenges and instant unlocks for armor sets like Direwolf and Fire Serpent.

Players can upgrade their passes for a small fee, offering various perks like bonus XP and exclusive content.

Upcoming Playlists

Prepare for two new limited-time playlists debuting with Operation: Shadows. Expect high-octane gameplay featuring the Falcon and Vestige Carbine in both “Famished Famished Falcons,” a frantic CTF mode, and “Banished Slayer,” a thrilling asymmetrical match-up.

Mode Updates

Improving the overall gaming experience, new updates to Firefight modes now allow players to toggle camera perspectives, making matches more accessible. Enhancements to S&D Extraction will streamline how teams strategize around objectives, promoting better communication and teamwork among players.

Sandbox Updates

Additionally, ten more weapons will be customizable, providing more options for loadout personalization. Players can now enjoy unique skins and enhancements on weapons like the Vestige Carbine and Ravager.

The Fall Update of Halo Infinite promises to energize the player experience with exciting new content. As we gear up for the official launch, one thing is clear: there’s a lot to look forward to!
