• Hot Chicken Takeover has closed its remaining locations in Grandview, Westerville, and Gahanna. Now, only the downtown North Market spot remains. Founded in 2014, Hot Chicken Takeover started as a pop-up. After being sold to Craveworthy Brands, it has gradually shut down other locations this year.
• A new South Indian eatery, Triveni Express, is now open at 7668 Sawmill Rd. in Dublin, promising a taste of authentic South Indian cuisine.
• Today marks the grand opening of CHA Redefine, a tea shop at 1930 W. Henderson Rd. Expect a range of trendy beverages here.
• Sad news for pizza lovers: Vick’s Gourmet Pizza in Reynoldsburg has closed after 64 years. One of the owners passed away, and challenges from the pandemic played a role.
• DaFuque Beer Company is relocating from Mecca Beverage center. They’ll be opening a new spot on High Street soon, though the exact location isn’t announced yet.
• Dahab Restaurant & Cafe in Hilliard will close temporarily to rebrand and reopen with a new concept.
• The Old Worthington location of Bubbles Tea & Juice Company is now closed.
• One Line Coffee at Short North is undergoing renovations and will be closed until Sept. 22.
• Loco Social in Grandview also announced renovations, closing until further notice.
