Peggy Poole has been named the 86th president of the Institute of Food Technologists (IFT), a top food science organization based in Chicago. Her experience spans over 40 years in the global food industry, covering areas like research and development, regulatory affairs, and quality assurance. She has a rich background with well-known companies such as Kraft Foods, Häagen-Dazs, and Bigelow Tea Co. Poole takes over from Christopher Daubert, who served as the previous president.
