Big news for skateboarding fans! Activision has officially announced the remake of Tony Hawk’s Pro Skater 3 and 4. Fans have been eagerly waiting for this moment.
This new version promises to bring excitement with fresh skaters, including Tyshawn Jones, and introduce new tricks, a killer soundtrack, and parks. The soundtrack will feature classic tracks like “Ace of Spades” by Motörhead, along with new music that reflects today’s skate culture.
Players can enjoy multiplayer mode across different platforms, allowing up to eight skaters to challenge each other.
The game is crafted by Iron Galaxy Studios in partnership with Tony Hawk and Activision. It picks up right from where the highly praised Tony Hawk’s Pro Skater 1 and 2 left off.
You can skate as legends like Tony Hawk, Kareem Campbell, and Elissa Steamer, or try out the new characters like Rayssa Leal and Jamie Foy. And, as always, there will be secrets waiting to be discovered.
The game launches on July 11 and will be available on various platforms, including PlayStation 4, PS5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X/S, PC, and Nintendo Switch.
For those who opt for the Digital Deluxe and Collector’s Editions, you’ll get early access starting July 8. The Digital Deluxe Edition includes some extra goodies like unique characters and customized skate decks.
The Collector’s Edition adds a special touch with a full-size Birdhouse skateboard deck signed by Tony Hawk himself.
Originally, plans for these remakes were put on hold as Activision made changes within the company. However, interest was reignited when Tony Hawk hinted at exciting updates in a conversation with Activision last year.
