Exciting Plans Unveiled for the 2026 JXN Food and Wine Festival: What to Expect!

JACKSON, Miss. – Mark your calendars! The JXN Food and Wine Festival is coming to Downtown Jackson from March 20-22, 2026. This vibrant event will be held at the Art Garden at the Mississippi Museum of Art.

The festival has grown to three days this year, featuring a Friday Feast and two days of tasting events. The Feast will be a culinary showcase, with a dinner prepared by well-known chefs Nick Wallace and Hunter Evans, kicking off at 7 p.m. Tickets for this special dinner are priced at $165.

Chef Wallace is excited about the festival’s role in highlighting Jackson’s culinary culture. He said, “I want more eyes on our diversity and talent. Come experience what we can offer.”

The tasting days on Saturday and Sunday promise to be a feast for the senses. VIP guests can enter at 5 p.m., while general admission opens at 6 p.m. Ticket prices are $175 for VIP and $95 for general admission. On Sunday, doors will open an hour earlier, with the same ticket pricing.

If you’re looking for a deal, grab an early bird ticket before October 8. VIP tickets will drop to $160, and general admission tickets will be just $80.

This year, over 25 chefs from across the South will participate, and culinary students will also get hands-on experience, working alongside professionals. Rickey Thigpen, the President and CEO of Visit Jackson, noted the festival’s economic impact, saying, “Last year, it generated over $100,000 for the city and boosted local restaurants.”

Amanda Fitzgerald, the Festival Director, spoke about the new addition of the third day. “We’re excited to bring more of what our guests loved in the last two years. Attendees will enjoy diverse bites and learn from beverage experts,” she explained. Expect around 2,000 food lovers to attend this exciting event!
