Rumors about the “iPhone 17 Air” suggest it might have a bigger screen than we thought.

During a recent episode of the Recycle Bin podcast, tech expert Jon Prosser revealed that the iPhone 17 Air may sport a 6.7-inch display, up from the earlier prediction of 6.6 inches.

Previously, display analyst Ross Young predicted a 6.55-inch screen, which gets rounded to 6.6 inches.

It’s still uncertain which size is correct: 6.6 or 6.7 inches.

Prosser mentioned that the device would be about 5.64mm thick, not counting the rumored camera bar.

Another analyst, Ming-Chi Kuo, suggested the device could be as thin as 5.5mm, making Prosser’s figure very close.

Jon Prosser, known for his YouTube channel Front Page Tech, has had mixed results with Apple leaks. For instance, he accurately reported on the AirTag design before its launch. Yet, he was incorrect about the Apple Watch Series 7 featuring flat edges.

Lately, Prosser has shared various details about the iPhone 17 series, predicting features for both the iPhone 17 Pro and the Air model. He also hinted that iOS 19 might come with a redesigned Camera app.

The iPhone 17 Air is expected to be unveiled in September.
