Food, Fun, and Fellowship at Kilgore’s National Night Out Events
Kilgore recently celebrated National Night Out, showing support for local law enforcement and first responders. There were over 24 events happening all around the city, from neighborhoods to local businesses and churches.

Officers from the Kilgore Police Department’s ProActive Community Engagement (PACE) Unit joined the fire department, Christus EMS, and the Rusk County Sheriff to connect with families. National Night Out started back in 1984 with 2.5 million neighbors in 400 communities across 23 states. It’s all about building relationships between the police and residents.
