Mark your calendars! Lake Ellyn Park will host the annual Summer Break event on June 26-27. This two-night celebration promises lively music, delicious food trucks, and a fun atmosphere by the lake.
This year, the Glen Ellyn Park District has something special—a new all-ages night! Families can come together to enjoy the festivities. Whether you’re with kids, friends, or flying solo, both evenings are set to create lasting memories.
On June 26, the All-Ages Show kicks off with the energetic cover band Good Clean Fun. The gates open at 5 p.m., and the concert runs from 7 to 8:30 p.m. The event wraps up at 9 p.m. Just make sure to register if you’re 3 years or older.
The fun continues on June 27 with a 21-and-older night. This adults-only event will feature two exciting acts: Rock the Ivory with David Wilner and the popular Beatles tribute band American English. The evening starts at 5 p.m. with live music from 5:30 to 9:30 p.m., wrapping up at 10 p.m.
Attendees can sip on craft beverages from local favorites like The Beer Cellar and Common Good Cocktail House. A variety of food trucks will also be available, serving up tasty treats for you to enjoy while you relax on the grass or on the Boathouse patios.
Registration is just $10 per person, per night until June 25. If there are any tickets left at the door, they’ll be $15, so grab your spot early. Don’t forget, you’ll need a valid ID for Friday night.
Summer Break at the Lake is more than just an event; it’s a celebration of community and togetherness. According to a recent survey by Eventbrite, 70% of people say live music improves their mood and brings friends and families closer. So, come out, enjoy the music, and connect with your neighbors!
