Summer is here, and it’s the perfect time to explore local events and activities! If you’re looking for something fun, check out what’s happening at the Durham Museum.

This summer, dive into the world of animation with “The Animation Academy: From Pencils to Pixels.” This exhibit is a treat for all ages. It uncovers the secrets behind some of your favorite cartoons and animated films. You’ll get to see how animation blends art and technology over the years.

Experience the animation journey firsthand. From the initial sketches and character development to storyboarding and the final touches, this exhibit showcases it all. You’ll find original storyboards and scripts from classic animations. Plus, there’s a chance to create your own stop-motion movie!
