Freshman Ethan Pritchard, a linebacker for Florida State, is currently in critical but stable condition after suffering a gunshot wound in Havana, Florida. The incident occurred on Sunday night, just before 10 p.m., while he was visiting family.
The Gadsden County Sheriff’s Office is investigating the shooting. So far, no one has been arrested. Captain Anglie Holmes reported that officers found Pritchard injured inside a vehicle and quickly provided assistance. He was then transported to a local hospital.
