Frances Tiafoe, the tennis star ranked No. 18 in the world, never thought of himself as a fan of Taylor Swift. But after meeting her at a Kansas City Chiefs game last November, his perspective changed dramatically. Taylor was there supporting her boyfriend, Travis Kelce, and Tiafoe found himself quite impressed.

In a recent chat with Tennis TV, Tiafoe shared his experience. He arrived at the game with his girlfriend, Ayan Broomfield, and soon encountered Taylor in their suite. “We were drinking all day together. She was so cool and very down to earth,” he recalled. “I didn’t think I was a Swiftie, but after meeting her, I gained a lot of respect for her.”

What surprised Tiafoe even more was Taylor’s knowledge of tennis. She mentioned she wanted to see him play in the finals of the last U.S. Open, a match he lost to fellow American Taylor Fritz. Tiafoe appreciated her warmth and genuine interest in his career.
